Large animal genome engineering: transposons and genome editing


The workshop aims at PhD students and young scientist interested in large animal genome manipulation. It will provide theoretical and practical knowledge in state of the art technologies such as  the use of transposon vectors for the efficient generation of transgenic animals. Trainees will also be instructed in the design, construction and applications  of  the CRISPR/Cas9 system. They will obtain hands on experience in genome editing and analysis of mutated cells.
